Hot Girls: The 2020 Vision is a collaborative magazine designed and circulated in the fall of 2020. My team and I created this publication as a response to 2020, commenting on all of the extremely important things that happened and were finally given attention. In light of the heightened activism of this year, we created this personal of a hot girl, and redefined the narrative around what it means to be a hot girl. In our eyes, a hot girl is anyone, not just women or those who identify as women, who is active in their community, leads with empathy, and does the right thing.
Through a series of curated articles, prominent figure profiles and original illustrations, my team and I created a time-capsule of all of the happenings of 2020.
