︎︎︎Boston University’s Zero Waste Plan

As a Design and Communications intern for Boston University Sustainability, I designed a set of four posters to aid in the streamlining of waste disposal on campus. This was part of an initiative to help the University achieve their goal of Zero Waste and carbon neutrality by 2040.

Alongside the Zero Waste Manager and in collaboration with BU Dining, I created new posters that indicate which items are to be disposed of in the recycling, trash or food waste bins. The posters were printed and posted across BU’s three campuses and distributed in the monthly newsletter, thus bringing waste disposal information to over 40,000 people in the BU community.

The image above shows the four posters displayed in the George Sherman Union, a central food court, study space and office building on campus.
